In India Meteorological Department (IMD) should be linked with Financial Institutes (Banks) so that as per the forecast of the climate and rainfall in the current year by Met – Department of India, banks should give loans to the Farmers for short term, midterm & long term crops that have to be cultivated in that current year. By doing so both the Farmers and the Financial Institutes can be on safer side.

Nowadays a lot of speculations going around, should farm income be taxed?
It is clearly a politically sensitive subject. Does it make good economics?
As the opinion is divided up to 90-95% of the farmers will not make it to this tax bracket – so is there anything to gain?

Yes only the rich landlords, who do various businesses under the shield of a Farmer name, avail all the benefits given to a Farmer and accumulate a lot of untaxed income. The second phase of the above are some of the cooperation’s, few of the facts are given below:

1. Monsanto Company is an American multinational agrochemical and agricultural biotechnology corporation which gets a Tax Exemption of totally Rs – 95 crores.
2. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seeks to reap Rs- 10 crores from his 60 acres of farm land is not a taxed.
3. Mrs. Supriya Sule – daughter of Sharad Pawar gets an income of Rs- 115 crores from 9 acres which are not a taxed income.

RBI release List of Defaulters on Apr 26, 2016:
You thought Vijay Mallya owes banks money? Kingfisher is actually small fry compared to Usha Ispat, Lloyds Steel and many others owe total Amount of Rs – 56,197 lakh crore, from various banks around India.

So, don’t Cut-off Agricultural Subsidies, Fix Them. What subsidies need is not the tax of politics, but more reforms that stir the Farmers against poverty and instability by which they can move forward.

The farmer is the only man in our Indian Economy, who buys everything at retail, sells everything at wholesale and pays the Freight both ways. Don’t give them the other option.

• NO FARMERS
• NO FOOD
• NO FUTURE

Jai Jawan Jai Kisan.
