INDIA’S ‘MISSILE MAN’ passes away

India lost one of her most influential son Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam died on 27.07.2015 Monday evening, he was 83. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 to Ashiamma Jainulabiddin, Jainulabiddin Marakayar and was raised in Rameswaram, T.N and studied Physics and Aerospace Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology (1955–1960). In 2002 he was elected as India’s 11th President, A career scientist turned reluctant politician. Distinctively now as India’s Missile Man.

Dr. Kalam collapsed while delivering a lecture to the students of the B-school of Indian Institute of Management – Shillong. He was rushed to the Bethany hospital in Shillong in a critical condition, but it was too late.
